Shipping policy

1. Shipping destinations
We ship exclusively within Switzerland. Delivery to other countries is currently not possible.
We deliver to all cantons of Switzerland, including Ticino, Graubünden, and remote areas. PO boxes can be accommodated upon request via our contact form.
2. Shipping carrier
All orders are shipped via Swiss Post (PostMail Economy / B-Post). Shipping is processed through our Shopify system.
3. Shipping costs
- Standard shipping within Switzerland: CHF 7.90 per order
- Free shipping on orders over CHF 100.–
Shipping costs are clearly displayed in your cart and at checkout. There are no hidden fees.
4. Processing and delivery time
The total delivery time is generally up to 14 business days from receipt of order. This includes both the processing and packaging of your order, as well as shipping via Swiss Post (Economy / B-Post).
- Orders placed on weekends or holidays will be processed the next business day.
- During peak seasons (e.g. Christmas, Valentine's Day, Black Friday, Mother's Day), delivery times may be longer. We will communicate this on our website in advance.
- Stated delivery times are estimates and non-binding. Delays caused by the shipping carrier are outside our control.
5. Packaging
Your jewellery is carefully shipped in a jewellery box to prevent damage during transport and ensure safe delivery.
6. Combined orders
Orders containing multiple items are always shipped together in one package. Separate shipping of individual items is not possible.
7. Shipping confirmation and tracking
As soon as your order leaves our warehouse, you will automatically receive a shipping confirmation by email. This contains the tracking number for your package.
You can track your package in two ways:
- through the official Swiss Post app
- through your order status on teardropjewellery.com using your order number
8. Transfer of risk
Upon handover of the goods to Swiss Post, the risk of transport transfers to you as the buyer. We are not liable for delays, losses, or damages occurring during transport — however, we will actively support you with claims (see Sections 9 and 10).
9. Damaged packages
Please check your package for visible damage immediately upon receipt.
If your package arrives damaged, please contact us within 48 hours of receipt via our contact form on teardropjewellery.com. Please include:
- a brief description of the damage
- photos of the damaged packaging and jewellery
Only with this information can we file a claim with Swiss Post and offer a quick solution (replacement or refund).
For reports received later than 48 hours after receipt, replacement claims cannot be guaranteed.
10. Lost or undelivered packages
If your package is marked as "delivered" according to tracking but has not arrived, please contact us immediately via our contact form on teardropjewellery.com.
In such cases, we will initiate a search inquiry with Swiss Post. Once the package has been located or officially declared lost, we will find a solution with you (replacement delivery or refund).
Please note: A Swiss Post search inquiry may take several business days.
11. Refused or unclaimed packages
If a package is refused by the customer or not collected within Swiss Post's pickup deadline, it will be returned to us as undeliverable.
In such cases, we reserve the right to:
- not refund the original shipping costs
- charge additional shipping costs of CHF 7.90 for a requested re-delivery
12. Incorrect or incomplete delivery address
Please carefully verify your delivery address before completing your order. If the address provided is incorrect or incomplete, additional shipping costs may apply if the package needs to be re-sent. We accept no liability for resulting delays or costs.
