Return Policy

This Return Policy ("Return Policy") governs the conditions under which customers may return or exchange products purchased from the Teardrop Jewellery / Boll Group (sole proprietorship) online store. It supplements our General Terms and Conditions (T&Cs) and Shipping Policy and forms part of the contractual relationship between you ("Customer") and us ("Teardrop Jewellery", "we").
1. General
Teardrop Jewellery offers a voluntary 14-day right of return. This right of return applies in addition to any mandatory statutory rights under Swiss law.
As Swiss law does not provide a general statutory right of withdrawal for online purchases, this 14-day return right is a voluntary service offered by Teardrop Jewellery.
2. Return Period
The return period is 14 days from receipt of the goods. The relevant date is the delivery date as indicated by Swiss Post.
After this period has expired, returns or exchanges are generally no longer possible, except in the case of a proven manufacturing defect.
3. Requirements for a Return
In order for us to accept a return, the following conditions must be met:
- Item is unworn
- Item is undamaged
- Item is in a hygienic condition
- Item is in its original packaging (incl. jewellery box, pouch, and any cards or tags)
- No visible signs of use
- No odours (e.g. perfume, smoke), no traces of make-up, cream or water
If an item does not meet these conditions, we reserve the right to refuse the return or to make an appropriate deduction from the refund amount.
4. Excluded Items
For hygiene and safety reasons, the right of return is restricted for certain items.
The following are excluded from the right of return in particular:
- Earrings / piercing jewellery, except in the case of a confirmed manufacturing defect
- Visibly worn or used jewellery
- Damaged items, unless the damage is attributable to a manufacturing defect
- Items without original packaging
- Customised or personalised products (where explicitly offered as such)
5. Return Shipping Costs
Return shipping costs are generally borne by the customer.
In the case of a confirmed manufacturing defect, we will cover the return shipping costs or reimburse them retrospectively upon presentation of a receipt.
Packages sent freight collect or cash on delivery will not be accepted.
6. Return Process

Return request:
Within 14 days of receiving the goods, contact us by email at support@teardropjewellery.com with:- Order number
- Name
- Item(s) to be returned
- Brief reason for the return

Return instructions:
You will receive a confirmation and instructions for returning the item. -
Packaging:
Pack the item securely (ideally: original packaging + shipping box), including the jewellery box, pouch and any enclosures. -
Return shipping:
Return via Swiss Post. We recommend shipping with tracking, as the risk of transport remains with the customer until the parcel is received by us. -
Inspection & refund:
Once we receive the return, we will inspect the goods. If all conditions are met, the refund will be processed in accordance with Section 7.
7. Refunds
Following successful inspection of the return, the refund will generally be processed within 7–14 business days.
Refunds will be issued via the same payment method used for the original order, where technically possible.
The following will not be refunded:
- Original shipping costs (if the order value was below CHF 100.–)
- Return shipping costs (borne by the customer)
- Any fees charged by payment service providers outside our control
In the event of visible signs of use, damage or missing parts, we reserve the right to partially reduce or refuse the refund.
8. Exchanges
An exchange is possible provided the return conditions are met and the desired item is available.
An exchange may be subject to an additional shipping fee, in particular if the new order value is below CHF 100.–.
9. Complaints Regarding Defects / Manufacturing Faults
If you notice an obvious defect or suspect a manufacturing fault, please contact us as soon as possible:
Please send us:
- Order number
- Photos/video of the defect
- Brief description of the issue
We will review the case carefully. In the event of a confirmed manufacturing defect, we will offer a replacement, repair or refund depending on the situation.
10. No Right of Return for Normal Use & Purely Subjective Dissatisfaction
Our return policy is not intended to allow jewellery to be tested over an extended period of time.
Worn or clearly used items cannot be returned solely on the basis of a change of mind after purchase.
